Friday Harbor Library, officially known as the San Juan Island Library, is an excellent resource for locals and visitors alike. Many tourists use the library computers to check their email and Facebook accounts, surf the web, and play online Poker. But the Friday Harbor Library also offers 47,000 books, 2,100 audio books (great for those endless whale watch excursions or moped rides), 3,300 videos (to keep the kids happy in the next room), and 135 magazines and newspapers.
